Comprehensive Financial Planning
A core belief at Holland Duell Financial Strategies is that the foundation for wealth accumulation and management is a well designed financial plan. This process begins as we help you quantify your goals and review your present financial situation. We will then develop a plan which will help you achieve your goals, implement the plan, then meet with you to periodically review your progress and strategies, and if necessary make any required changes. Among the issues addressed are:
- Retirement Planning
- Estate Planning
- Education Planning
- Investment Planning/Asset Allocation
- Income Tax Planning
- Risk Management
Modular planning for one or more of the above is also available.
Asset Management
An essential pillar of implementing a financial plan is the proper management of your assets. Holland Duell Financial Strategies provides professional asset management to individuals, trusts, corporations, nonprofits, and retirement plans. We design each portfolio based on the goals and objectives of each client, using the principals of modern portfolio theory and tactical asset allocation. We construct globally diversified portfolios to maximize return while reducing risk. Portfolios are constructed with regard to the client's total financial situation, and tax-efficient investing is a high priority in taxable accounts.
In constructing your portfolio we use the following instruments depending upon your objectives and risk tolerance:
-
Mutual fund portfolios primarily utilizing low cost institutional funds.
-
Individual issues of stocks and bonds.
-
Exchange traded funds (ETFs).
-
Options using covered call writing (where appropriate).
In many cases, there will be a mix of the above assets to achieve the desired asset allocation and diversification within the various asset classes.
Pre-Divorce Financial Planning
Divorce planning is a specialty area of financial planning. The goal is to help couples and their lawyers resolve the financial issues of divorce to provide long-term equitable divorce settlements. This is accomplihed by providing financial information and assistance to people in divorce to include evaluating the tax implications of dividing property and the settlement options for dividing pensions, marital property, and awarding of child and spousal support. This includes charts and in-depth analyses that depict the financial status for both spouses over time to help make critical decisions.
While the marriage may be over, you have a long life ahead. Proper planning can lead you to a financially fair settlement, bringing you closer to a better tomorrow.
